On October 24, 2026, a single mother in Medicine Hat , Katarina tzortzis, lost her home and everything in it due to an electrical fire. Katarina is a loving mom to a young daughter. The two have already faced more than their fair share of challenges over the past few years, including medical emergencies. Now, they are facing this overwhelming task of starting over after losing everything they owned except the clothes on their backs.

As a community, we have the opportunity to come together and help take some of that burden off their shoulders. So many people have already reached out asking how they can help. By creating this fundraiser we were hoping to bring those offers of support together in one place.

Our goal is to gather support here and allow Katrina to decide what is most important for herself and her daughter as they move forward. Please reach out to Shelby Pavlovic if you have physical donations, however we have already received an overwhelming support of clothing.
