After 8 years of raising her kids on her own as a full-time single mom, this devoted mother has gone from standing in food bank lines… to earning her college degree… to launching her own business — all while making sure her kids have never gone without. She’s the kind of neighbor who still shows up to help others, even when her own plate is full. Her story is one of quiet resilience and selfless strength.

Recently, this family won a 7-day stay in Maui through a fundraiser benefiting children with cancer — a cause they passionately supported. It was a beautiful and unexpected blessing. But while the hotel is covered, they still face a mountain of expenses they can’t manage alone: airfare, food, transportation, and island experiences.

They’ve never flown together as a family. They’ve never had a real vacation. And this might be their one and only chance to create lifelong memories in a place as magical as Maui.
