Down syndrome girl bullied in school. Now mom can’t work
Donation protected
Hi everyone,
I’m writing this because someone we care about needs help — and she’d never ask for it herself.
The cleaning lady who works in our office is a single mom of three kids. She works incredibly hard, always with a smile, just doing her best to give her kids a good life. But something awful happened recently that turned her world upside down.
Her youngest daughter has Down syndrome. She’s the sweetest little girl — full of love, always smiling. But a few weeks ago, some kids on the school bus bullied her. They made fun of her for having Down syndrome. Since then, she’s been terrified. She won’t go to school, she won’t get on the bus, and she won’t let her mom out of her sight.
Now her mom — who’s already doing it all on her own — has had to stop working to be with her daughter 24/7. She doesn’t have family here to lean on, no backup plan. And as you can imagine, not being able to work means she’s falling behind on rent, bills, food — everything.
We’re raising money to help her get through this. Just enough so she can take care of her daughter, cover some basic living expenses, and hopefully get some therapy for her little girl to start healing.
She’s done so much with so little. Right now, she just needs a little breathing room.
If you can give anything at all — even just a few dollars — it will make a real difference. And if you can’t give, please share this with someone who might.
Thank you for reading this, and thank you for showing love to a family that really needs it right now.
