Help a Single Mom Replace Her Burned Vehicle
Donation protected
On Father’s Day, my son and I were driving on I-5 when my vehicle began to smoke. I pulled over as soon as I realized what was going on and turned off my truck. Within 15 seconds of me turning it off, flames appeared. I ran around to get my son out of his car seat. My son was asleep and had gotten stuck in his car seat as he somehow managed to put on his sweatshirt with the seatbelt on. I got my son out, his car seat, and my purse. Everything else I had to leave behind to not risk getting hurt—my son's toys, clothes, shoes, etc.
This was our only vehicle. I am a single mother and currently pregnant with my second child. I genuinely hate asking others for help but have found myself to be in a position where I have no other option. I do have insurance; however, I have a loan on my vehicle and owe more than the value of my truck. I was in no financial position to have to purchase a different vehicle and have no money for a down payment toward a different vehicle. I am kindly asking for donations to go toward paying off what the insurance will not cover on my current vehicle loan and also money toward purchasing a different car. I know times are tough for all right now, but anything would be appreciated, big or small, even a share.
