My name is Monique, and I am a single mom doing my best to care for my boys. In October 2024, my life changed dramatically when I started experiencing serious health issues. I was diagnosed with a pituitary tumor and developed tachycardia, which led to having a heart monitor implanted. Now, I am facing cervical spinal surgery, March 25th, which has traumatically affected me tremendously. Because of these health challenges, I was forced to stop working as a caregiver—a job I truly loved because it allowed me to help others every day.

Being unable to work has put a huge strain on my family. The bills keep coming, and my biggest worry is making sure I can keep a roof over our heads and cover the medical expenses that are piling up. My mobility and everyday life have been deeply affected, and it’s been incredibly hard not being able to provide for my family of four and pay for medical bills.

I am reaching out for help because I have an upcoming surgery, I’m asking for help to cover those expenses and keep a roof over our heads while I focus on healing. My goal is to recover fully and get back to the life I love — caring for my family and, hopefully, returning to my work as a caregiver.
