Help a Single Mom Rebuild from Nothing
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Yana, and I never thought I would be in this situation, asking for help. But today, I have no other choice.
I am a single mother of two, also caring for my disabled mother. Recently, I was the victim of a devastating scam that left us with absolutely nothing.
I met a man on Tinder who seemed kind, loving, and trustworthy. Over time, I let him into my life, my home, and my heart. But one day, he robbed us of everything—our savings, our belongings, even the most basic necessities. He ran away, deleted his accounts, and vanished without a trace.
I went to the police, but they told me it’s a civil matter and that there’s nothing they can do. Meanwhile, this man is still out there, likely preying on other women in Los Angeles and selling everything he stole from us.
Now, my children, my mother, and I are struggling just to survive. We are staying in a motel with no idea what comes next. I am a nurse, and I have a job lined up next month, but we don’t have enough to make it until then.
I am humbly asking for help to cover our basic expenses—shelter, food, and daily necessities—until I can start working again. Anything, even $5, would mean the world to us right now.
If you are unable to donate, please share this fundraiser to help spread the word. I also want to warn other women—please be careful. People like this are out there, pretending to be someone they’re not, and leaving families in ruins.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for reading, donating, or sharing. Your kindness means everything to us right now.
