Hi everyone,

My name is Brenda, and I’m creating this fundraiser on behalf of my dear friend Deanna Harper— we’ve been friends for over 15 years, and she’s like a big sister to me. She’s a strong, hardworking single mom from Central Jersey whose life was turned upside down by the recent storm that hit our area.

Deanna’s home was severely damaged and is no longer structurally safe. Flooding left behind mud, mold, and a strong odor that made it completely unlivable. She and her son Khalid, who has special needs, are currently staying with family — but that’s only a temporary solution.

Deanna has always been resilient, loving, and selfless — always putting others first, especially her son. But right now, she needs help getting back on her feet.
