Hi, my name is Brasia, and I’m a single mom of two doing my best to create stability and peace for my little family.

In October of last year, I lost my home while I was a stay-at-home mom. Since then, I’ve worked hard to rebuild from the ground up — finding a new apartment, starting my own baking business, and creating a safe, loving space for my kids. This apartment became my start-over home. I’ve shared our journey on TikTok ..from decorating our space, to celebrating small wins, to everyday moments with my children.

Unfortunately, I’m now at risk of losing this home as well. I’ve reached out to every local resource I could find..churches, charities, and rental assistance programs, but have been met with dead ends at every turn. There’s no available support in my area right now, and I’ve been struggling to find consistent work to close the gap in time.

While it’s too late to save this particular apartment, I’m determined not to let this setback take away the progress I’ve made. The funds raised here will go toward:

• Paying off the remaining balance I owe, so it doesn’t affect my credit or prevent me from securing housing in the future

• Moving costs and deposits for a new apartment

• Essentials for my children and I as we transition into a new space

I’ve built everything I have through faith, hard work, and my baking business, @brasiabakes, which I started from scratch. I take pride in caring for my kids and providing them with comfort, love, and stability, even when times get tough.
