Help a Single Mom of Three Get a Reliable Car
I’m swallowing my pride writing this because asking for help has never been easy for me. But right now I don’t have a choice because my babies are depending on me.
I’m a single mom of three, all under the age of three, and we live in an area with no access to public transportation. A few days ago my car’s transmission went out without warning. I’ve been using a rental car just to keep things moving, but once I return it me and my kids will be completely stranded. No way to get to work, no way for my kids to get to school, no way to get groceries or to their doctor appointments.
If you’ve seen my recent viral video you already know a piece of my story. So many people commented and messaged telling me to make a GoFundMe, so here I am even though it’s hard for me to ask. I’m only doing this because so many of you reminded me that sometimes it’s okay to accept help.
Repairing my old car would cost more than it’s worth, so my goal is to raise $2,500 to buy a small reliable starter car. Just something safe and dependable that will let me get to work and my kids to school.
I’ve already been through so much, navigating motherhood, working through heartbreak, and trying to heal while keeping my kids happy and safe. But right now this car situation is something I can’t push through alone.
Any amount helps, even a share. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for reading this, for caring, and for helping me keep my family moving forward.
