Hi, my name is Kristeen and I’m a single mom and a student. My son is 14 years old and had just made a AA hockey team! He has faced many challenges in his life such as being a former foster child and being completely blind in one eye. Despite this, he plays Goalie and is playing AA this year.

I know everyone is going through hardships right now. I know that sports are considered optional. I also know that the benefits my sons receive through playing a sport and excelling at it are immense.
