Reaching out for help like this is something I never imagined I’d have to do, and it’s not easy for me to ask. I’m a 23-year-old single mom to a 6-month-old baby girl, and right now I’m doing everything I can just to keep us afloat.

One of the biggest challenges I’m facing is not having safe and reliable transportation. Right now, I have to depend on whatever I can access, and it isn’t always dependable or in the best condition. As a mom, it’s really hard knowing I can’t consistently provide something as basic as a safe ride for my baby. Even simple things like getting to appointments, buying groceries, or making it to work have become stressful and uncertain.

Because of this, I’ve already had to miss opportunities, and I’m at risk of losing the small amount of income I currently have. I’m trying to build stability for us, but without reliable transportation, it feels like I keep getting pushed backwards no matter how hard I try.

Some nights are really overwhelming. I look at my daughter and just want to give her the kind of comfort and stability she deserves, and it hurts not being able to fully do that right now. I’m doing my best, but I can’t do this alone at the moment.

Having a reliable car would truly change everything for us. It would mean being able to get to work consistently, take on better opportunities, and provide a safer, more stable daily life for my daughter. I’m not looking for anything fancy—just something dependable that can help us move forward.
