Help a Single Mom Get Back on the Road

Asking for help is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do, but today I’m putting my pride aside for my family.

I am a single mother of two amazing boys, and we’ve recently been hit with an unexpected hardship. My car’s transmission has failed, making it unsafe to drive. I’ve reached out to multiple mechanics hoping there was an affordable solution, but unfortunately the repairs are beyond what I can afford.

Without reliable transportation, getting to work has become a daily struggle. I’ve done everything I can to keep pushing forward, but the lack of transportation has affected my ability to get to work on time and has caused financial setbacks, including falling behind and accumulating late fees on my rent.

Right now, I’m working hard to save for another reliable vehicle while also trying to catch up on my rent so my children and I can remain stable. I’m not looking for a handout—just a helping hand during one of the most difficult seasons of our lives.
