This is really hard for me to write because I’ve always been the type to handle things on my own, but I’m at a point where I need a little help getting back on my feet. Recently, my truck was severely damaged and is likely to be declared a total loss. While I’m incredibly grateful that everyone was okay, losing my vehicle has been a huge hit to my daily life. As a single mom of two amazing boys, having reliable transportation isn’t just a convenience — it’s essential. It’s how I get to work, take my kids to school and appointments, get to school for myself when needed, buy groceries, and keep our lives running.

Insurance will cover part of the loss, but not nearly enough to replace it with something safe and dependable. I’ve been searching for affordable options, but the used car market right now is brutal, especially when you’re trying to avoid high-interest loans and unreliable vehicles. I’m doing everything I can on my end — working, budgeting, and exploring every option — but I’m still coming up short.

My goal is to raise enough to purchase a modest, reliable car so I can stay independent and keep providing for my kids. My absolute last resort would be to use this to help with a down payment, as I’m trying to avoid taking on payments if possible.
