Hi,

My name is Alexandra, and I am starting this Fund for my younger sister Cecilia.  She is a single mom of 4 and is one of the most hard-working women I've ever met. She is the sole provider for her family and always puts them first. Cecilia has been cutting hair for over 30+ years and, through hard work and dedication, was fortunate enough to have a salon to call her own. A few weeks back, a car ran through her salon and destroyed everything she worked so hard to build. The pictures show the extent of the damage, from a broken water pipe causing water damage to the flooring and electronics to damaging barber chairs, supplies, and equipment.

Unfortunately, the driver's policy limit only covers the structural damage to the building and not the contents of the hair salon. Also, Cecilia's insurance only covered liability that protects her clients and not business contents or loss of income.

I wanted to start this page to get my baby sister back on her feet and back to what she loves doing best! Funds will be used to pay for labor and materials for flooring, painting, salon stations, cash register, salon supplies, and most importantly, income that was impacted by the loss of work. If we can all donate, whatever amount, we can help bring back Cecilia's business and ability to continue to provide for her family.
