Help a Single Mom Finish Her Master’s Degree – Your Support Means Everything!
UPDATE: WE ARE $2120 away from the goal! I appreciate everyone for supporting and ask that you continue to share.
Hi everyone,
I’m reaching out today with a heavy heart but a hopeful spirit. As a single mom, I’ve worked hard to provide for my two amazing kids: one is a college student majoring in biomedical engineering, and the other is an aspiring nurse. They inspire me every day to keep pushing forward, and now I’m asking for your help to reach a major milestone in my own journey.
I’m currently finishing my Master’s in Public Policy and Administration at Northwestern University (GO WILDCATS!) and I’m so close to graduating! But in order to register for my final classes, I need to raise $2500 to cover my balance by February 10th. This degree is not just a personal goal—it’s a tool I’m using to make real change in my community, especially with my work through Hustle Mommies, where we empower moms to advocate for their families and communities.
This degree will also make me the first in my family to not only have a Bachelor’s degree but now, a graduate degree as well. It’s a huge accomplishment, and it’s a step toward breaking generational curses. I want to show my kids that anything is possible, even in the face of challenges, and that we can always make a difference when we have the knowledge and tools.
But I can’t finish this journey without your help. This degree is critical, not just for me personally, but because we need more moms—especially moms like me—sitting at the decision-making tables. The work I’m doing with Hustle Mommies is making a real impact, but I need this degree to take it even further, especially in today’s climate. We need our voices heard in spaces where important decisions are made, and this degree is the key to getting me there.

If you’re able to contribute, no amount is too small. Whether it’s $5, $10, or more, every dollar will help me get one step closer to finishing what I’ve started. And if you can’t donate, please share this message with your network—it all helps!
Thank you so much for your support. Together, we can create a better future for my kids, for me, and for every mom out there fighting for change.
With love and gratitude,
Ariel DeNey
