I left my husband of 13 years late last year and unfortunately had to move back home to Eastern KY. My family is here and I thought I would have support and help from them. I am a single mom and sometimes my ex pays support and sometimes he doesn’t (also saving for a lawyer). Unfortunately, I can’t work as I have no childcare and have my kid all but one day a week. My family is toxic and dysfunctional. Last year, I stayed at my grandparents' house and my sister-in-law attacked me in my sleep (she is on drugs). Poverty and drugs are everywhere, and I have to carry personal protection everywhere I go. I need to get out of this town; I don’t feel safe here. I’d really like to move, but it’s so expensive. I can apply for public housing once I do find a town.

Plz help me break the cycle and escape this hell.
