My name is Mariolyn Roberts, and I am a mother of two boys facing one of the most difficult times in our lives.

Over a month ago, my spouse left for work in New Jersey and never returned. Since then, I have been left to care for our children alone. Despite repeated calls and attempts to reach him, I have received no response. As a result, our rent and household bills have fallen behind, and my cell phone is at risk of being disconnected within the next week.

I recently started a new job at Juicy Crawfish, and I am grateful to be working. However, I am currently only receiving three days of work each week, which is not enough to catch up on the overdue rent and bills that were left behind. One of my sons receives disability benefits, and I am doing everything I can to provide stability and security for my children.

My greatest fear right now is losing our home and becoming homeless. I am working hard and committed to getting back on my feet, but I need help overcoming this immediate financial crisis so that my boys and I can have a fresh start.
