WE ARE ALL SET! Help a Single Mom Bring Christmas Magic

I'm having a really hard time watching my friend struggle when we are less than 2 weeks away from Christmas...

She's got 2 children, a daughter who is 5 and a son who is 3, and she's a single mother. She's a very, very good single mother who works hard and provides for her kids. She hurt her knee at work earlier this year and can barely walk. She's getting the runaround between Worker's Comp or her own insurance covering the surgery she needs, both claiming the other should be responsible (and a rather non-responsive attorney "working" on it). She doesn't drive and can't walk far to work and can't work on her feet until her knee is fixed.

In the meantime, she has $0 to buy Christmas presents or Christmas breakfast and dinner.

My friend is signed up with Ulster County Christmas Wishes but she is not sure what they can provide, she's not positive they will be able to provide (what if the person they assigned her wish list to doesn't come through?) and she's trying to resign herself to her kids just not really having Christmas. I can't stand the thought...

I'm hoping my friends here can help. Just enough to buy each a few gifts and to make a Christmas dinner for herself and the kids. They are sweet and deserving and too young to lose the magic of Christmas!
