Hi, my name is Tabbetha. I'm a single mom of three from Greene, New York, doing my best to raise three amazing kids! Sophia is 13, Elijah is 11, and Marley is 10. I work hard to keep our home stable and full of love, but this year has tested us in ways I never imagined.
Earlier this year, our family went through something deeply painful. Since then, we have been fighting through depression and anxiety, and it is taking a toll on all of us emotionally, mentally, and financially. As a mom, watching your child struggle like that breaks your heart in ways you can't put into words. I've tried my best to hold everything together, but the weight has been heavy, and most days have been really hard on all of us.
Even with everything, we still have hope. What we want most this Christmas is something simple but meaningful: to visit family and see the lights, to get matching pajamas, and cuddle up on Christmas Eve and watch a movie. I want to give my kids a warm, peaceful holiday to remind them that love and joy still live here, no matter what we've been through.
Because of what our family has experienced this year, we are not fully comfortable sharing personal photos publicly. I will give you a photo to see a sort of, but without faces. I truly hope our story gives you a glimpse of the love and closeness we share. We're focusing on healing, rebuilding trust, and finding moments of joy again.
I'm humbly asking for a bit of help to make that possible. My goal is to raise $600, which would go towards some gifts, matching pajamas, a holiday meal, and a little gas to get us around to visit family. This would mean the world to us.
Any donations, no matter how small, will help us bring a bit of light back into this holiday season as well as keep our hope alive that the new year will be a better one. If our story moved you but you can't donate, would you please share it so that others may see our story also? Thank you.
Thank you for taking the time to read about our family and for caring. Your kindness truly makes a difference.
With love and gratitude,
Tabbetha, Sophia, Elijah and Marley
