Help a Single Mom Avoid Eviction and Stay Afloat

Hi, my name is Meagan, and I’m a single mom trying my best to provide a stable home for my child while pursuing a better future. I’m reaching out for support because I’ve recently fallen behind on rent due to circumstances beyond my control.

Like many others, I’ve been trying to break the cycle and build something of my own. I invested what I had into launching a small business, believing I’d make enough through sales to cover my rent and expenses. Unfortunately, things didn’t go as planned. At the same time, my income has been reduced due to student loan garnishments—leaving me with little to nothing after bills.

Now, I’m facing the risk of eviction. I’m doing all I can to catch up and get back on track, including working and exploring payment plan options with my landlord. But I can’t do this alone. I just need a little help to stay in my home, keep the lights on, and continue pushing forward for my child.
