My name is Erik Stanley. I'm a single dad with Stage IV colon cancer.
Most of you reading this probably know my story. For those who don't, I'll be brief: On NYE 2019 I got a call from the hospital telling me that my wife Kacie had colon cancer and that they'd need to operate immediately. Then, in 2022 I went into the emergency room for stomach pain and was told that I also had colon cancer.
Unfortunately, my wife passed away in the summer of 2023. She was only 37. Since then, I've kept a low profile. Due to my treatment schedule and the fatigue that I feel, I can no longer work. Any extra energy I have goes to taking care of our 9 year old son.
While I've been cursed with some terrible luck, I've been blessed with a great group of friends and family. All of you have helped me survive for years through what could have easily been an impossible situation.
A lot of people have asked me how they can help. If you'd like, please consider a small donation. It'll go a long way towards covering medical bills and monthly expenses.
Thanks!
Erik
