On October 8th 2025 I was working at Homewood Suites by Hilton in Beaumont Texas I was working on putting up at steel gate and blew my back out something happened in my spine I was paralyzed in my legs I was rushed to the hospital and had to have emergency surgery on my number 3 and number 4 spine I've stayed in the hospital for 6 days needing to go to a aftercare facility but I didn't have insurance so they sent me home I've had to have my ex-wife to come from Louisiana to help me I'm a single father of 2 daughters 11 and 17 in school after all have been through workers compensation denied my claims I was very hurt because I was a dedicated employee I've hired an attorney but it's gonna be some time before I'm compensated I still have bills and I still have to take care of my children I'm under doctor care not knowing when I'll be able to take care of myself again I've been trying to get insurance from my job for the last few weeks they kept putting me on hold because they only offer insurance to management and I couldn't understand why I didn't qualify because I was appointed over the maintenance department now I'm fighting for my rights I just need help until I win my claims God bless whoever reads this and find it in there heart to give for a worthy cause.
