My mom passed away 6 months ago after a 7 month battle with cancer. Since then, I've been caring for my dad, who has dementia and needs round-the-clock support. Balancing being a good son and a divorced father has been tough. My son has struggled with his Oma’s passing, and my dad’s condition is worsening. The stress of caregiving, making ends meet, and helping my son through his own challenges has been overwhelming. I recently found out my dad can receive 5 days of care in mid-July, giving me a rare chance to take my son away for a break and make memories together. Unfortunately, I don’t have the funds to make this happen.

Funds would help cover travel, lodging, and activities for a short trip. We hope to visit the Ark Discovery and a zoo, giving my son a chance to enjoy life and take his mind off recent hardships. We would be very grateful for any support. This would mean the world to my son and even more to me.
