A few weeks ago, my best friend was facing the unthinkable: without a liver transplant, he would not survive. There was no time to prepare, no time to plan, no time to save. It was life or death — and by the grace of God and modern medicine, he received the transplant that saved his life.

But surviving was only the beginning.

He is a single father of two children, and they are everything to him. They need their dad — and right now, he’s fighting every day to heal so he can be there for them. Recovery from a liver transplant is long, painful, and exhausting. Doctors have made it clear: he will be unable to work for at least three months, possibly longer.

That means no paycheck.
No safety net.
And no way to cover the basics on his own.

While he focuses on healing, life doesn’t pause. Bills keep coming. Groceries are still needed. His kids still need stability, warmth, and security — and the weight of not knowing how he’ll provide for them is crushing.

This is someone who has always shown up for others. Someone who works hard, loves deeply, and never asks for help. Writing this for him is heartbreaking — because if he had any other choice, he wouldn’t be here asking.

Every single donation — no matter how small — helps lift an unbearable burden:
• Keeping food on the table for his kids
• Keeping their home secure
• Helping with transportation to life-saving follow-up appointments
• Giving him the peace of mind to heal instead of worrying how he’ll survive financially

This transplant gave him a second chance at life. A second chance to raise his children, to be present for their milestones, to keep being the father they depend on.

If you can donate, thank you.
If you can’t, please share.
Either way, you are helping a father keep his life — and his family — together.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your kindness, prayers, and support. ❤️
