Around midnight on 9/7, a devastating fire broke out in my brother’s garage—believed to have been started by a battery—and in a matter of minutes, it destroyed everything.

My brother is a hardworking single father of four kids and the owner of a small landscaping business. That garage held not just his livelihood—all of his tools and equipment—but also some clothing (their washer/dryer and laundry were in there), six freezers full of food and meat from his farm-raised livestock, and countless irreplaceable personal items from over the years.

He also lost his ATV, which he uses daily to care for and patrol his 60-acre ranch, and most heartbreakingly, one beloved cat that was inside at the time.

The fire didn’t just take things—it took stability, security, and peace of mind. But by the grace of God, he and his children are safe, and for that we are deeply thankful.

We’re now asking for any support to help him and his children recover from this tremendous loss. Whether it’s to help replace tools so he can get back to work, food/supplies for the kids, or simply ease the weight of this tragedy, every bit helps—and every share matters.
