Over the years my condition has developed to:

Bedbound/unable to be upright, frequent loss of speech, reduced ability to see due to severe bilateral TSS, 15 overlapping diagnoses, pain conditions, etc. with no cure. 25-30% daily functional ability.

There is no surgeon to perform the operation needed in Canada.

I'm diagnosed by 2 neurosurgeons and can't access treatment for my spine since becoming severely disabled in 2017.

The Ministry of Health declined Out Of Country funding submitted by my Canadian Neurosurgeon for OCF surgery in the US.

With surgery funding declined, there remains no care for my spine in Canada. No substitute or any treatment has been provided.

I'm now losing my ability to see due to 3 new comorbid conditions and require a venous stent in my brain, which is against best interests to perform with a dislocated skull and spinal instability.

I qualify for Invasive Testing with Dr Bolognese (US), a World Leading Surgeon who could perform the neurosurgeries required for 4 conditions. Invasive testing serves as a pre-operative step.

* The cost would be $40,000-$50,000 for the testing alone

* OCF, Terhered Cord, and styloidectemy, surgeries cost 6 figures

The funds raised will be used for:

-invasive neurosurgical testing in the US

-PSW homecare which I've been unable to receive from Ontario Health at Home

-Non-surgical treatments for my spine, eyes, and to reduce pain, until I can afford surgery

-a trauma therapy program

-non-covered medical transport, cervical collars, and disability aids
