Breaking the Silence: Help a Senior in Carchi, Ecuador

Some silences are painful. In the mountains of Carchi, Ecuador, an elderly man lives trapped in a world without sound. Today, his greatest wish is to hear his family’s voices again and to have the medicine and food he needs to live with dignity.

My name is Verónica García, and together with the Batallón de Amor Carchi, we are raising funds through the Murphslife Foundation. We believe in Aaron Murphy’s mission of direct, transparent help that reaches the person in need without intermediaries.
