I met this senior cat hiding under a table in a food market in Kuala Lumpur.

He was huddled up for safety while I was just walking through, following the sound of live music.

He’s clearly been surviving on the streets for a while; his fur is patchy, his back legs are weak, and he has what looks like a skin infection. Despite that, he’s one of the gentlest cats I’ve ever met. He just leans into your hand when you pet him, his eyes cry out with excitement and joy of being held and loved.

I’m leaving Malaysia on October 28th, but I’m trying to get him safely into a shelter or foster before then. If a shelter can confirm they’ll take him, I’ll personally transport him there.

Any donations will go directly toward:

☆ Transport to whichever rescue can accept him + fees associated with the surrender.

☆ Vet checkup + treatment for infection

☆ And the rest of the funds left over will be donated to the facility that is able to accept him.
