Hi There! My name is Grace, and I am a student at Mount Holyoke College. I am fundraising on behalf of a loved one who needs $7,000 in order to return to MHC this upcoming fall. This year, their tuition costs doubled from $10,000 to $20,000. As a self-supporting student, they have spent the past two years working 20+ hours a week during the academic year and 50 hours a week during summers to cover tuition costs. However, due to this unreasonable tuition increase, this will no longer cover costs. Additionally, they have been financially supporting their family through a family emergency, so their funds are further limited. Their family is unable to assist with tuition or cosign loans, so I am turning to community aid as a last resort.

My friend is a dedicated community member and learner at Mount Holyoke, who is deeply involved in student life and campus activism and always striving to make the college a better place for their fellow students. They have worked so hard to make it to this point by applying for numerous scholarships and working long hours, all while maintaining their grades and extracurricular commitments. They have enjoyed studying sociology and politics, founding and leading a student organization, and participating in dance department shows, among many other things. If they were unable to return this fall, they would be stripped of all of these incredible experiences and opportunities. I love this person dearly, and would be grateful for any donations towards continuing their education! I am deeply grateful for any and all help.
