Hello everyone,

My name is Misty, and I am reaching out with a humble and hopeful heart. I am a single mom, a dedicated nurse, and someone who has spent her life caring for others—whether through my work in the medical field or simply by extending a helping hand to those in need.

For years, I have been the one offering comfort, compassion, and care to others. Whether it was holding the hand of a frightened patient, providing relief to a family in crisis, or simply lending a shoulder to cry on, my passion has always been to serve and heal. But now, I find myself in the vulnerable position of asking for help.

In 2014-2015, I faced one of the most terrifying battles of my life: cancer. The diagnosis shook me to my core, but I refused to give up. With courage, resilience, and determination, I fought my way through rounds of treatments and surgeries. Through sheer determination and faith, I emerged victorious—cancer-free and ready to reclaim my life.

However, life threw yet another devastating challenge my way. Over the past few months alone, I have undergone five grueling surgeries. Each surgery was necessary to combat new health complications, leaving me physically exhausted, emotionally drained, and financially strained. The pain and recovery have been overwhelming, but the hardest part has been the emotional toll of worrying about my children and finances.

As a single mom, my biggest fear has always been not being able to provide a stable and loving life my children deserves. And as a nurse, my passion for helping others has been both my calling and my joy. But these months of surgeries, treatments, and recovery have left me unable to work and struggling to keep my head above the water.

I have spent my life extending the olive branch to others, always ready to help where I could. But now, I am the one in need. I am humbly asking for your support to help me rebuild my life and find my footing again. The mounting medical bills, the cost of treatments, and the time away from work have created an overwhelming financial burden that I simply cannot overcome alone.
