Help a School Hero Through Health Challenges

A dear friend at work, who loves roses, and works very hard, needs a bit of support. This friend has been dedicated to the students and teachers in our school district, for over 30 years!

Recently, she had a very serious health scare and was forced to take a few weeks off for surgery and recovery. She usually works long hours and overtime to help with after school events, and also works one-two extra jobs. However, this friend unfortunately has had more than one health issue, over the last few years.

Due to a clerical error outside of her control, she missed the chance to receive well-deserved contributions from our district's Sick Bank. So her paycheck was only 1/4 of what she was expecting.

I'm hoping if many of us pitch in what we can, this will help her pay her bills, and relieve some stress. Trust me, this friend is someone who goes above and beyond to makes our school(s) run smoothly. Without her, we'd be lost. In fact, if this friend ever retires, we are in trouble!!
