We are asking for your help. "Reyna" (name withheld for her safety) fled El Salvador to escape brutal violence at the hands of family members and local gangs. "Reyna" has endured additional hardships as she navigates the U.S. asylum process. Recently, "Reyna" fled her home to escape the abuse of her intimate partner. Her strained financial situation has left her with few options, without the resources to purchase food and other necessities.

 

Please consider donating to this fundraiser so "Reyna" can afford a safe place to live and other basic needs while her pro bono attorneys continue to fight her case in court. $3500 will cover her housing and other basic expenses for several months while she awaits a decision hopefully granting her legal permission to work.
