Salāmu ʿalaykum wa raḥmatullāhi wa barakātuh,
This fundraiser is being organized by a small group of community members on behalf of a revert sister who accepted Islam approximately two and a half years ago and made hijrah in order to practice her faith safely.
We personally know this sister and can confirm that her situation is genuine. She has given full permission for this fundraiser to be created on her behalf.
Funds will be withdrawn by the organizer and given directly to her or used on her behalf with full transparency.
Her Story
We are raising urgent support for a revert sister who left her home country to practice Islam safely and sincerely and has now fallen into serious hardship.
After two years of supporting herself, illness and visa complications have left her without housing or income. She now needs temporary support to regain stability and rebuild her independence.
This sister accepted Islam approximately two and a half years ago and made the difficult decision to leave her home country in order to practice her faith safely. In her country, openly practicing Islam was extremely difficult, especially for a woman. Religious hostility, safety concerns, and economic instability made it unsafe for her to live her faith with peace.
She left behind familiarity, comfort, and stability for the sake of practicing Islam with safety and sincerity and made hijrah.
Since she made hijrah, she worked hard to remain fully self-reliant. She found work, covered her own expenses, and lived modestly without asking others for help. Asking for help has not been easy for her, and she delayed it as long as she could.
Those who know her describe her as sincere, hardworking, and committed to doing things in a halal way.
During this time, she quietly supported others by helping families in need with food, housing, and access to work.
Today she is in need of the same support she once gave quietly to others.
What Happened
Over the past several months, she experienced serious health issues that made it difficult for her to work consistently.
Recently:
• Her lost her job
• Shortly after, her visa expired
• The grace period ended
• She lost her housing
• She is currently unable to return until a new visa is issued
After months of staying with friends, she now has no stable place to stay and no reliable source of income.
Without support now, she risks losing the opportunity to return and rebuild her life.
What the Funds Will Cover
This fundraiser is for temporary support only to help her regain stability and independence.
Funds will be used for:
• Medical expenses
• Visa renewal
• Temporary housing
• Food and necessities
• Transportation
• Basic living expenses
The goal is to support her for three to six months, allowing her to secure lawful work and stand on her own feet again.
This support is intended as a temporary lifeline, not long-term dependency.

The Prophet ﷺ said:
"Whoever relieves a believer’s hardship in this world, Allah will relieve his hardship on the Day of Judgment."
