Help a Retired Police Officer with Unexpected Medical Bills
Donation protected
As a 13-year veteran of the Little Rock Police Department and current organ donor transport driver, Tim Dillon is passionate about helping those within his community. Tragedy struck this father of 5, and now is our chance to rally around this beautiful family and support them the way Tim has supported so many others.
On October 3, 2024, Tim’s wife of 20 years returned home from work to find her husband extremely lethargic and incoherent. Tim was rushed to the emergency room where he was admitted in critical condition. Due to having immeasurably high triglycerides, he was at extreme risk of heart attack or stroke. Tim then spent the next 8 days in ICU, where he was diagnosed with extremely painful pancreatitis and Diabetic Ketoacidosis (DKA). If these were left untreated, it would have been fatal!
Tim did not have health insurance available through his current employer, so all associated medical costs are out-of-pocket. All funds raised will pay for medical expenses and any shortfalls in living expenses.
Placing this post has been a very tough challenge for the Dillon family. They do not want to ask for help, but without help they may never be able to get past this unimaginable time in their lives. No one ever wants their children or life partner to have to go through something like this. However, this unfortunate event has already caused significant financial hardship, including impacting Tim’s wife’s 25 mile commute to work each day. Another devasting fear is losing their home due to the insurmountable medical debt. They continue to have faith and pray that your generous contributions will help them through this overwhelming time.
The Dillon family is incredibly grateful for any help they receive and are passionate about paying it forward once they are back on their feet.
