Help a Retired Firefighter Represent Team USA In Italy!

Hi, my name is Sean Lawless, and I’m a retired firefighter who found a second life in saltwater kayak fishing. After serving my community for decades, I followed my passion and moved to Florida when I retired to be closer to the ocean and the water I’ve grown to love.

Now, I’ve been given a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity:

I’ve been selected to represent Team USA in the 2025 Kayak Fishing World Championship in Italy this September.

This is a dream I never thought possible. Competing on a world stage, wearing the American flag on my back, surrounded by the best kayak anglers from around the globe—it’s a true honor.

But here’s the challenge: every athlete must cover their own expenses.

This includes:

• ✈️ Round-trip airfare to Italy

• Lodging during the competition

• Kayak rental & gear

• Entry fee

• Meals & travel expenses

The total cost is about $6,000, and as a retiree, this is a big financial stretch I didn’t plan for.
