My name is Danielle Pollard, and I’m humbly asking for your support as I hold things together for myself and my two sons, Dylan and Dorion. After nearly 30 years of consistent employment, I’ve hit a wall — emotionally, financially, and physically.

Over the last few years, I’ve lost my mother, my brother, my sister, both of my play mothers, my grandmother, and several uncles. Grief stacked on grief while I was still trying to survive in a world that rarely slows down.

Then I was laid off from my corporate role. Despite decades of leadership and consulting experience, I haven’t even landed a single interview. With much prayer, I decided to bet on myself — launching my own business and writing my second book. But it’s been slow. Too slow.

In the meantime, I’ve depleted my savings and maxed out every option to stay afloat. My car was stolen. Bills are behind. I DoorDash with a $55/day rental and work part-time at Larry’s Barber College, but the weight of it all is catching up.

My youngest son Dylan just started high school. He is a kind, brilliant young man — building gaming computers from scratch — and I couldn’t buy him a single new item for the school year. He’s growing fast, and watching him outgrow his jeans and shoes without being able to do something about it has been heartbreaking.

My oldest son Dorion is still healing after the collapse of his NFL dreams. He’s channeling that pain into music and running his junk removal business “Get It Gone Chicago” while bouncing part-time at a nightclub. He had one record deal offer, but the terms weren’t right. Still, he keeps pushing.

We’re not lazy. We’re not giving up. We just need a hand right now. I'm working on two Communication Mastery Workshops in October and finishing my second book. I believe things are about to shift in a major way — but we need a bridge to get there.

If you feel led, we would be deeply grateful for your support. Every dollar makes a difference — whether it’s $10, $100, or simply sharing this with someone who may be able to help.

Thank you for seeing us. Thank you for helping us breathe again.
