I have devoted years of my life to becoming a researcher in nutrition science, with the goal of contributing to public health and improving health outcomes.

Right now, I am unable to continue that work—not by choice, but because of delays in processing my employment authorization as an international researcher in the United States.

Instead of contributing to research I have trained for, I am currently stuck in a period where I cannot work or support myself. My savings are nearly exhausted, and this unexpected gap has made it difficult to cover basic living expenses.
