This is Shadow, my sweet and loving rescue dog. When I first met him, I had no idea the hardships he had already endured. After taking him to the vet, I learned that Shadow has been suffering in silence for far too long. He came to me with a double severe ear infection, caused by two types of bacteria and yeast, allergies, and the most heartbreaking news—Shadow has a broken leg that was never treated when he was a puppy. His leg healed improperly, leaving him in constant pain and causing him to limp with every step.

Despite the pain he’s in, Shadow is nothing short of amazing. He’s an incredibly happy and loving dog who knows all his tricks and commands. He adores people, gets along wonderfully with kids, cats, and even birds. Everyone who meets him instantly falls in love with his sweet and joyful nature. Shadow’s spirit is unmatched, and he deserves a chance at a pain-free life.

The vet has recommended surgery to amputate his leg, which will cost about $4,500. Unfortunately, I am unable to afford this amount on my own.
