I helped this family relocate from Zaporizhzhia to the U.S. through the U4U program. They arrived seeking safety and are now a family of four, with two very young children — ages 3 and 1. The older child requires regular speech therapy, and the trauma of war has taken a deep emotional toll on them all.
Recently, the mother Yana Spasova received a devastating diagnosis: cancer. She has now started chemotherapy and is too weak to work. Just days ago, her husband left his full time job to be more available for child care and support. He drives for Uber whenever possible.
They are facing an overwhelming crisis — far from home, battling illness, with two small children depending on them. I’m organizing this fundraiser to help cover their basic needs: housing, food, transportation, uncovered medical expenses, and support for the children.
Every donation, no matter how small, brings hope and relief. Please help us support this brave mother in her fight for life and stability for her family. If you can’t donate, sharing this campaign is also a huge help.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
