I am writing this with a heavy heart, because one of my closest friends is going through the hardest phase of his life — and right now, he truly needs help.

My friend recently graduated from college with big dreams, like any young student who comes to Canada hoping to build a better future. He worked hard, stayed focused, and tried his best to survive through studies, rent, food, and daily expenses.

But life took a painful turn.

Due to financial struggles, he was unable to pay his remaining tuition balance. Because of this, the college is refusing to release his transcript. Without his transcript, he cannot move forward with his career or immigration process.

On top of that, the college has now assigned his file to a collection agency, and he has been receiving constant calls demanding payment. These calls and pressure have completely broken him mentally.

For the last month, his condition has become worse day by day.

He is not able to sleep properly.

He is not able to eat properly.

He has stopped talking to his family.

He has lost motivation to even get out of bed.

He tried to apply for loans, but because of his out-of-status situation and a low credit score, every company rejected him. Even working is not possible anymore because he is out of status and employers are not willing to pay in cash.

What hurts even more is his family situation.

His father left the family, and his mother is already struggling to survive back home. He cannot ask her for money, because she doesn’t have anything left to support him. Instead of helping his mother like he always dreamed, he is now trapped in a situation where he feels like he has failed.

This is not just a financial problem anymore.

This has become a mental health crisis.

As his friend, I could not stay silent and watch him collapse. I already managed to arrange $4,000 by asking friends and people around me. But we are still short, and I have reached the point where I need help from the community.

Our Goal: $6,000

This amount will help him clear the remaining tuition balance, release his transcript, and give him the chance to rebuild his life again.
