Hello!
Our sweet Charlie tore his ACL. He's been limping for weeks and crying his heart out under strict bedrest and missing his friends. We just found out the cost of the surgery is $8000, and not having the surgery could cause hip dysplasia and injuries to his other knees. Our goal is to give Charlie the immediate care he needs so he can live an active, happy life.
Charlie is a rescue puppy -- at only only nine months old he's already 60 pounds and loves to run in the mountains with his mom. He's still figuring out how to jump into cars unassisted, keep up with the big dogs at the dog park, and that he can't bury a bone in a carpet.
Charlie's mom, an overworked and underpaid ER doc in her first year of residency, is profoundly grateful for any help you can give. Charlie came into her life unexpectedly and wormed his way into her heart instantly if somewhat against her will.
The funds raised here will go towards Charlie's injury care so he can return to a pain-free life as soon as possible.
Thanks, Gary, for getting this fund started! Gary's message below:

"Charlie tore his ACL and his owner cannot afford the procedure. The vet suggested 8 weeks of forced bedrest with low hopes that it will heal itself.
My appeal is: Please give whatever you can. It can be $1 or $100. Everything helps!
