Good day to all, unfortunately I got into a severe car accident. I struck a concrete barrier on the passenger side of my vehicle, but my car spun around and the nose of my car also hit the guard rail, and on top of that a vehicle struck me hard on the passenger side of my vehicle. My car wheel broke off. And I sustained severe injury to my wrist that was found very fractured. By ending up in the hospital by Ambulance. I bought this vehicle August 8th 2025, the car lot gave me only a bill of sale of $9,600, I had to renew in September the registration of $200 under the previous owner's name, and chose the insurance that covers the plate only. I still haven't received the title yet for the past 5 months owning the car. So I could not get full coverage because it's not registered under my name legally yet in PuertoRico. My car was definitely totaled. The tow truck driver towed my car to my community, while I was in the ambulance, did not sign any paperwork or he did not give me any hints of more or less how much it cost to tow it. The bill was $184 for him to drop the car. I did not have the money by surprise and he took it to his tow yard, which will be building up yard fees. At the hospital, they did X-rays and CT scan for my shoulders up. They gave me a tetanus shot and a pain pill. In which all the responsibility of that payment is going to be on me unfortunately. My car was my work car for Airspace, that I pick up the plane parts and human organs to rush to the hospitals for waiting recipients scheduled for surgeries ASAP. A Job I Loved on, SAVE A LIFE. I couldn't get full coverage on a car because I did not get the title yet and I did not have the rights to put full coverage because the registration is under the previous owner. I cannot work anymore for a long while, of bringing an income temporarily, I don't have money to buy another car, the car is totaled, and I've lost my investment of $9,600 unfortunately that I cannot retract in any manner. So I'm in a bad bind of trying to keep food at my table with my three Chihuahua fur babies also. Don't know what to do until things hopefully gets better for the next 3 months. So I'm a sitting lame duck, with no vehicle to get to therapy or shopping for food to place at my table.
