Help a Pregnant Mom Facing Immigration Challenges.

A year ago, this 22-year-old woman from Puculpa, Peru, entered the United States with her Venezuelan boyfriend through Eagle Pass. They turned themselves in to Border Patrol and were later released to begin their asylum process.

On January 31, while complying with their annual immigration filing order, her boyfriend was detained by ICE and transferred to the Bluebonnet Detention Center in Anson, Texas.. Although she went to the same appointment a week earlier, she wasn’t detained due to being seven months pregnant.

Now, with her partner in detention and her advanced pregnancy making it difficult to work, this woman is struggling to meet her basic needs. She cannot afford food, rent, or the legal help necessary to fight for her partner’s release. Her greatest wish is to reunite with her boyfriend, who has no criminal record in Venezuela, Peru, or the U.S.

The risk of eviction from her apartment looms as she cannot pay rent, and without financial resources, her future is uncertain. She wishes to return to Peru, but signing voluntary deportation could separate her from her partner and newborn if she gives birth in the U.S.

This fundraiser aims to raise money for an immigration lawyer to help her navigate this situation and provide for herself and her baby until the birth. With legal help, she hopes to find a way to return to Peru with her family intact.

Hace un año esta joven de 22 años originaria de Puculpa - Perú ingreso con su novio Venezolano a Estados Unidos por Eagle Pass, donde se entregaron a la patrulla Fronteriza y posteriormente fueron liberados.

Esta pareja emigró para tener una mejor vida, empezaron a hacer todos sus trámites legales y de asilo con una paralegal, pero el pasado 31 de enero, mientras cumplía con su orden de presentación anual ante inmigración, su esposo fue detenido por ICE y posteriormente trasladado al centro de detención Bluebonnet ubicado en Anson, Texas. Ella acudio a la misma cita una semana antes que su pareja pero no fue detenida por que tiene 7 meses de embarazo.

Ella trabajaba con su novio, ahora el avanzado estado de su embarazo le dificulta encontrar un empleo. Su mayor deseo es obtener la libertad de su pareja de no tiene antecedentes penales ni en Venezuela, ni en Perú, ni en Estados Unidos.

Ella no cuenta con recursos económicos para pagar a un abogado, comprar comida, ni para pagar la renta de su apartamento del cual corre el riesgo de ser desalojada a finales de este mes.

Su deseo es regresar a Perú, pero si firma la deportación voluntaria va tener que pasar posiblemente por el proceso de separacion de familia cuando nazca su bebé.

Por tal motivo se esta abriendo esta recaudación de fondos para buscar ayuda de un abogado de inmigración, poder costear los gastos de ella hasta que nazca el bebé y luego buscar la manera de que ella retorne a Perú con su familia.
