Hi, my name is Borys and I am raising funds for a Lumpectomy for my best friend.

Buddy is an otherwise healthy 14 year old Field Spaniel

b. 20/06/2009 in the village Bohorodchany, UA and immigrated to Canada in 2011 with the family; with no other issues and loves to go camping and canoeing with his best friend, me. About a year ago Buddy started to get a growth on his forehead right between the eyes. At first it was small and didn't bleed or ooze anything but as the summer arrived it started to do those things. My vet wanted way too much money than I could afford to remove it and I thought with love and attention it would just go away, not so.

I had to get a cone to put on him so that he couldn't rub it on anything, the growth doesn't hurt him but probably itches when it bleeds or oozes pus so he wants to scratch. Blood all over the place, you can imagine. I have to clean and dry his face constantly, every hour or two from the leaking, it's no fun for either of us. The only time he isn't wearing the cone is when he's eating.

Also a problem with the cone is that he can't chew any bones or treats or lick himself or scratch when the need arises as dogs do, so he's not too happy. Overcoming an infection on the growth after 2 weeks of antibiotics we are now faced with the challenge of removal.

As you can see it the photo the growth is quite large now and it needs to go or otherwise....I really don't want to think about that....because BUDDY IS HEALTHY OTHERWISE. My vet has provide me with an estimate for the operation and as a senior, barely existing on a meager pension; I don't have the resources to help my best friend.

I have provided a copy of my Vet's estimate for you. On top of that there are additional charges like post operative care, treatments and Dr. visits to consider. Operation doesn't take long I've been told and Buddy will be coneless and back to his old self with a few weeks after the cauterization heals.

Please help my best friend, he's such a good boy.
