One of our much loved PHS resident kitties has been seriously injured. She's going to need at least one surgery, and the estimate for the vet bills has added up to $3000!

The owner of this kitty is one of the kindest people I know, who is so dedicated to not only her own pets, but any animal in need that may cross her path. There are not many of us who could afford this vet bill without assistance, which adds so greatly to the stress and heartbreak of caring for a wounded love.

Someone has generously loaned the $1000 to pay the deposit, so the cat could receive immediate care without needing to be surrendered (yes, if you can't afford to pay anything up front for the vet bills, often the only alternative to saving their lives is to give them up. Heartbreaking). This loan and the remaining bill of this surgery need to be paid as soon as possible, as well as the bills for the 4-6 week follow up appointments.
