Hi there! I am Mrs. Gaines - a devoted teacher stepping into a new adventure!

After many years of teaching 5th grade, I am excited to be moving into a new role of teaching 4th grade this upcoming school year! With this transition comes an entirely new curriculum in Math, Science, and Social Studies - and I am committed to bringing these subjects to life for my students in engaging, memorable, and meaningful ways.

As I learn alongside my students, I want to make our classroom a place where learning feels like an adventure - where science is an actual discovery zone, math turns into fun missions, and history becomes a time-traveling journey.

To make this possible, I am reaching out to my community for support!

My goal is to raise $1000 to support a full year of classroom transformations, curriculum-themed experiences, and essential student needs.

The funds will be used in the following ways:

1- Classroom Transformations: immersive learning setups based on our thematic units - think a "Space Lab" during an astronomy unit, or a "Weather Station" when studying climate, or even "The Wild West" when studying westward expansion. These experiences will help my students truly live their learning!

2- Supplies & Learning Materials: from pencils and notebooks to hands-on science tools, manipulatives, and decor - every item will help keep our classroom dynamic, creative, and inclusive.

3- Daily/Weekly Prize Box: A student favorite! Stocked with snacks, bookmarks, trinkets, and tokens of encouragement that foster positivity and celebrate student growth.

4- Hygiene Station: For our pre-teens navigating adolescence, I will maintain a discreet hygiene station with deodorant, wipes, tissues, dental kits, and more to support student well-being.
