Moon is a Palestinian woman living in Portland who works endlessly to provide the community with education on Palestinians and all SWANA and BIPOC folks. Today, the day after Moon spent countless hours driving to provide folks with Palestinian books out of her own pocket, she was unfortunately in a car crash that totaled her vehicle.
She pours all of her time and resources in to providing this priceless information of her people and in outreach to people in need, expecting nothing in return. She can no longer provide her resources without a vehicle and should be provided with transportation regardless. Mutual aid is that, mutual, let's give back to Moon, who has already given so much.
$10,000 is a starting goal for the funds required to give Moon what is needed to replace her vehicle. If you have a working vehicle that you are not using, please consider providing this to her in the meantime. Any additional funds will be given to Moon to use for her living expenses.
