Hello Dear friends..

My name is Thaer Matar and I’m 34 Years old from Gaza Strip, I was working as a freelance accountant, my wife Eng. Nagla electrical engineer, I am a father of five kids, Ghazal (10 years) Ala’a (8 years), Jwan (7 years), Aysel (4 years) and Mohammad (1 years), We are sharing our story with you in a time of urgent need

Me and My Family are currently trapped amid the ongoing conflict in Gaza, and our situation has become increasingly dire! With each passing hour, the violence escalates as most of you see or read in the news! and the risk to our lives grows hour after hour!

On 03 December 2023 We were forced to leave our apartment and our all-life aspects in Hamad City- Khanyounis and after that, we settled temporarily different shelters and tents due to the escalations and the war circumstances On 8th December 2023, Our apartment was partially destroyed as shown below in the photos!

We are desperate to escape this war zone and seek safety elsewhere, but the cost of evacuation is beyond our means. The only feasible option for us is to cross the border to Egypt - Cairo City, a journey that requires significant financial resources we simply do not possess!! We are humbly asking for your support to help us raise $28,500 which will cover most of the expenses needed for our safe passage out of Gaza through Rafah crossing point. Here’s the breakdown of how the funds will be used:

- $5,000 for two dults (crossing fees) = $10,000.

- $2,500 for five kids (crossing fees) = $12,500.

- $5,000 for rent’s expenses of apartment and requirement for food diapers, and milk till we find a job.

- $1000 for (gofundme fees)
