Help a nonprofit cat lounge install flooring

State law requires our nonprofit cat lounge install tile flooring before we can open.

Books & Meows a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that is dedicated to helping cats find furever homes and promoting literacy. Our cat lounge will soon open in Davenport, Iowa, where you can meet and play with adoptable cats, find great books, read, and work. We Have made a lot of progress towards opening, to include officially setting up our tax-exempt nonprofit organization, obtaining office space, purchasing insurance, finding animal shelters to partner with, painting walls, buying furniture, setting up WiFi for our visitors, and a million other details. However, we recently learned that the Iowa Department of Agriculture will require that we replace the carpeted floors with tile floors before they will grant the license that we need in order to open. The least expensive quote we've received to replace floors totals $8,061.

So far, Books & Meows has received a few donations totaling under $200. The rest of the thousands of dollars funds we have expended came from personal contributions made by Nicole and her husband Eric through his business.
