Hi, my name is Peter, and I’m fundraising for a first-of-its-kind pencil-hyperrealism, puzzled art series.
I began drawing at age nine. For years, I publicly explored experimental art to sharpen my visual perception, but privately, my deepest strength has always been pencil hyperrealism. I’ve spent years studying how different skin pores and textures make us humanly unique, much like the practices of artists such as Arinze Stanley and Kelvin Okafor.
But recently, I developed a new puzzled hyperrealism technique; a method I hope to introduce into the art space as both a quiet offering and a new path. This technique will be my artistic voice, but its enduring message is rooted in spirituality: a lifelong exploration of the teachings, history, and mystery of Jesus Christ.
Right now, I’ve reached a stage where I feel financially handicapped—not being able to push this dream from here to there—I need essential tools and materials to complete this work, but they’re beyond what I can afford.
What the funds will do
Your support will help me purchase a standard easel to carry the next body of works, canvas, Bristol papers, dry and compressed pastels and toners, Fabercastell materials, brushes, lighting equipments, and other basic studio supplies I currently lack.
These tools are necessary for me to complete the full series and prepare it for proper exhibition and documentation.
If you feel moved to support, please know that even the smallest contribution means more than I can express.
